This series was originally based on exotic butterflies but soon expanded to included tropical fish and flowers. I found the colors, shapes, and patterns to be unbelievably intense and elegant. Although there may be one specific species that a particular work revolves around, most of the works are an amalgam of species and their habitats that have been worked into an abstraction that is an entity all it's own. The paintings are 5 X 5 in. (13 X 13 cm) and need to be framed under glass.
