This is a 2003 series of construction paintings. The paintings are made in oil on a plywood base and incorporate various objects and materials, including stones, sand, rope, bb's, nails, modeling paste, wire, found objects, etc. They are a continuation of the constructions from '01-'02 but the surface texture has been lowered so that they rarely project more than 3-4" off the wall. Most pieces measure approximately 30 X 40 X 3 in. (79 X 100 X 7 cm) and do not require framing, since they have built-in wooden frames.
