This group of watercolors is from the summer and fall of 2004. I continued to work in the same manner as I did with the Siberian watercolors: painting mostly outside with very little work done once I get back to the studio. Working on a small scale, I am able to capture the moods of the seasons and locations, and all the other influences that drive a painting, without becoming hung up on the technical aspect. The paintings are 7 1/2 X 7 1/4 in. (19 X 18.5 cm) and need to be framed under glass.
